Isolation Bay is one of our favourite locations for a refreshing and inspiring retreat weekend - laid-back luxury at it's best!!

 

Facilitated by Kate Watkinson (Thrive Yoga) and Penny Wilson (Tekapo Wellness), the weekend line up includes a wonderful selection of yoga, qoya, meditation, whole foods cooking, workshops and plenty of free time to sit back and soak up the views!! A small group of nine women ensures a relaxed and welcoming environment.  Our meals are home-cooked with love, and can cater for a range of dietary needs. 

 

The investment for your health is $695 - $845 (room options available) for an all inclusive weekend; accommodation, wholesome tasty meals, workshops, yoga and cooking demo

Your Retreat Home

 

Situated midway up the western edge of the Lake Tekapo shoreline, this premium house at Isolation Bay offers arguably the best view in New Zealand. Not only that, it also boasts its own private beach access with no neighbours in site.

 

The house is made up of very large living areas with a high ceiling and large windows to make the most of the stunning views. The large living room will be the main area for the retreat workshops and yoga sessions. The open plan kitchen is great for demonstrations and the large dining area has big doors to a deck across the front of the house.There are multiple outdoor living spaces to capture the sun and shelter, the big sliders allow maximum use of these spaces. Plenty of space to retreat and relax.

 

There are four bedrooms, with options for room share or private bedroom

1.      Room with a View - king room with private ensuite, bath and lake view

2.      Space to Yourself - king room with private ensuite

3.      Share with a Friend - a twin-share room with one queen bed and a single bunk 

4.      Bunk in - a shared space for up to three people on bottom bunks

Kate (left) is a Wellness Inspirer who believes it is our birthright to, not only survive, but thrive. Kate will share Yoga, Qoya, and meditation during the retreat to refresh and rejuvenate! Find out more at thriveinlight.co.nz

 

 

 

Penny (right) is an Integrative Health Coach who is passionate about connecting women and encouraging them to shine to their full potential. Penny will lead workshops exploring living with balance, passion and whole-hearted wellness. 

 

Your Retreat Program

 

The intention of this weekend is that our workshops and sessions will refresh and restore you as you make time and space for yourself. We hope that you will feel encouraged and inspired as you leave from your time here. 

 

The ‘program’ below outlines the general flow of the weekend. Times are flexible and operate on a fluid 'Tekapo time.’ 

 

Friday

Arrival from 4pm with free time to settle in, explore and get to know other guests

5:30pm The Power of Intention; Yoga Movement and Stillness

Saturday

7:30am Nature's Rejuvination; Yoga and Meditation 

9:00am Breakfast

10:00am Workshop

12:30pm Lunch

1:30pm – 3:30pm free time

3:30pm Optional; Qoya 

4:30pm  Whole foods cooking demo 

6:30pm Evening meal

8:30pm Optional; Star Gazing

All activities are optional. You are welcome to explore during your free time. There are a variety of fantastic local walking tracks and the lake is at our doorstep. Or relax at the house with your journal, a colouring book or puzzle, or browse through our eclectic range of books and magazines.
